Yes! The way you can use an artwork depends on the type of license you bought. Artists may offer up to two licenses for their work.
Commercial License: This license allows the buyer to use the artwork for commercial purposes, including:
- Commercial projects: using the artwork in products, marketing materials, games, etc. that generate revenue.
- Reselling: incorporating the artwork into products that are then sold to others.
- Printing business: using the artwork for print-on-demand products, merchandise, etc.
- Modification and copying: adapting the artwork for different media like film, music, games, social media, etc.
Standard License: This license is for personal use only, allowing the buyer to:
- Publish on social media: share the artwork online for non-commercial purposes.
- Personal enjoyment: use the artwork as a wallpaper, screensaver, etc. for personal use.
Regardless of the license chosen, the artist always retains ownership and copyright of their artwork. The chosen license simply defines the buyer’s rights to use the artwork under specific circumstances.

Yes, free revisions are included within 24 hours after purchase date. This allows for minor adjustments to ensure you’re happy with the final piece.
Note: It is recommended to include as much details as possible before purchase and leave only minor changes in the revision period (24 hours after purcahse). Big changes within revision period may result in cancellation by the artist.
Additional revisions are welcomed, but will incur fees determined by the artist. This compensates them for their time and effort invested in accommodating your requests.
Refunds for digital artwork are granted under the following circumstances:
- If the artist does not deliver the artwork within the agreed timeframe or at all, despite reasonable communication attempts from the customer.
- If the final artwork significantly deviates from the agreed-upon description provided during the consultation between the buyer and seller before creative production. This includes major discrepancies in style, content, or features.

If the artwork might not be delivered on time, then communicate with your buyer beforehand to avoid any disputes. Clarify the delivery time and try to match your buyer’s expectation.
In case the delivery is delayed significantly and buyer is longer satisfied with the service, then the buyer will have the rights to issue a refund.

As an artist, your earning rate gradually increasses as you reach higher levels based on your total sales:
- Level 1: 12% commission (you keep 88%)
- Level 2: 10% commission (you keep 90%)
- Level 3: 8% commission (you keep 92%)
- Level 4: 6% commission (you keep 94%)
This transparent fee structure rewards successful artists with lower commission rates, allowing you to keep more of your earnings as your journey grows on XShaded.
No, you don’t need to worry about VAT (Value Added Tax) when selling your artwork on XShaded! We take care of the entire VAT process for you. This means you can focus on what you do best: creating amazing artwork and growing your artistic journey.
